How Do They Make Them ?

The company started off in a garage in the fall of 2011 with a laser cutter, a drum sander, a computer, a collapsible work table, and a shop-vac.

Today, with the use of Veneer wood (yes real wood) they ship throughout Canada wood and leather cases for iPhones ranging from the 5/5s to the 8/8 Plus! Amazing how with a garage you can do anything no?

To start off, the wood has to go through a series of steps before it can fit on your phone.

#1 The tree is debarked and put on a “huge apple peeler” (so it can either be peeled or sliced depending on the result expected).

#2 It’s set to dry in an evenly flat manner.

#3 When the drying is done, it’s ready to be cut and glued together.

Tada!! you have your case (kidding, it’s a bit more complicated than that, but we think it’s a pretty decent summary.
